Second mini-series of the Channel 4 drama written by Charlie Brooker which explores the role of technology in modern society in three stand-alone episodes.
In 'Be Right Back', Martha (Hayley Atwell) connects with her recently deceased partner, Ash (Domhnall Gleeson), through a service which uses social media to clone him. But even as Martha becomes attached to the artificial Ash, she begins to realise that he cannot replace the real one.
In 'White Bear', Victoria (Lenora Crichlow) wakes up to discover that she has lost her memory. When she goes outside she finds a number of people recording her on their phones and soon after she is chased by a masked gunman. Confused and frightened, she encounters Jem (Tuppence Middleton), who tells her that a transmitter known as White Bear is responsible for transforming the majority of the population into mindless voyeurs. Victoria joins Jem in her effort to destroy the transmitter but comes to learn that not everything is as it seems...
In 'The Waldo Moment', Jamie (Daniel Rigby) is a depressed, struggling comedian who, through motion capture, interviews politicians as a cartoon bear called Waldo. As Waldo becomes increasingly popular, Jamie is convinced by TV producer Jack Napier (Jason Flemyng) to stand in the town's by-election against politicians Liam Monroe (Tobias Menzies) and Gwendolyn Harris (Chloe Pirrie). Despite his popularity with the public, Jamie ruffles one too many feathers which sends him on a downward spiral.
