Like a testosterone-laden version of AZUMANGA DAIOH, the quirky comedy anime series CROMARTIE HIGH SCHOOL chronicles the rough-and-tumble hijinks at a school for male juvenile delinquents. The series centers on Takashi Kamiyama, a normal 16-year-old with average grades who somehow ends up at the infamous academy and is forced to navigate its brutal social hierarchy of juvies, outlaws, bullies, and thugs--as well as a 400-pound gorilla, a robot who thinks he's human, and a Freddie Mercury wannabe.
