Kaleidoscope Garden: A Hiromi Matsuo Works Collection (Japansk)

Hiromi Matsuo draws women in Japanese and Western clothing with a retro and classic worldview. This book is a collection of works composed of work paintings such as her paintings and works produced at exhibitions, plus original works including those published in doujinshi. Grasping the changes in fashion and lifestyle culture from the Meiji, Taisho, and early Showa eras, adding her own modern interpretation and her own arrangement, she considers appropriate designs and decorations. We will also focus on Mr. Matsuo's work creation, and introduce the design know-how that makes retro-modern women more attractive, with commentary by the artist himself.
